Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am sure I will be better soon, but right now not so good. I suppose a little achiness and crumminess is ok if I don't get the stupid shingles.
Maybe you should see a doctor?

Per @DougRNS's request. No more rain expected so these are the final results.

It’s alright, but I would not give it a “hot.” When I’m out in winter gear, I’m black on black up to the eyeballs and and the effect is a little Johnny Cash. At least my helmet is white.

I like black bikes, so I'm partial to that. Of course, I'm partial to high viz on me.

Most definitely - made at a time when finished basement space was unheard of, so there wasn't much of an attempt to level the concrete floor. In the 2' * 8' area of the bench, there's about 2" of deviation, hence the leveling feet and tying in to the structure above (so it doesn't move and throw off the level).

I'd give it a 'hot'. Only niggle is the steerer/stem clamp area - the light is catching so many horizontal lines between the spacers and cut-outs in the stem that it looks a little clunky. FYI, instructions on the Cervelo stems say that it's okay to trim 4mm below the top of the stem so as to eliminate the spacer on top.

What bottle cages? Carbon? I still need to find some but having a hard time coughing up $50+ each for the big-brands.

Yeah, at age 63 one doesn’t trim a steerer with gay abandon. There’s helo tape on the head tube to protect from rub.

Story of the cages is I had a junky, Performance house brand carbon cage and found another one on eBay. Turned out the guy couldn’t find it, so he gave me the two new items for the price of the old Forte, free shipping. They are CFRP with the weave visible and look pretty good, I think.

And if there’s a bottle of hand sanitizer to be bought in this town, we sure as hell can’t find it.

Edit: Of course, that is, you have a Bosch EVS router to go with the table.

Looks ok but I have never had a non-metal cage. Al<SS<Ti. Both in price and quality/durability.

I do have the Bosch router, but I haven't even opened the box yet, so I only have a general idea of what you're talking about. I'll keep it in mind when get around to opening/mounting in a couple days, through.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be okay with where my stem is, but I still want to get in a few real-deal rides before I commit to cutting it, too.

Oh, and one other thing about Cervelo's guidelines for trimming the steerer - I'm not sure if this is only with their recommended steerer insert or not... it's a metal jobber that needs to be epoxied in place rather than your typical expansion plug.
