I went and looked at the bike. The paint is pretty banged up and retouched on the chain stays and lower seat tube. Elsewhere the paint looks good. Carbon fork, campy headset, campy bottom bracket included.

but that part of the listing:
"COMES WITH EXTRAS. WILL NOT TELL ON THE PHONE, THE FIRST TO MAN UP AND SHOW GETS THEM. "
screams: "I don't want anything to do with that guy" (@ $350. If it were $50, it might have been a different story)

Panasonic mens cruising bike. Looks like everything is there and just needs tires inflated.

+1 I saw the ad and thought about checking it out since it's near me. Then I read the weird part. It made me think the seller is himself a flake or one that thinks all that he owns is somehow better than what I own.

This is a 1979 Japanese Soma Competition offered for sale in Atlanta, GA (actually Gwinnett County, but I’m downtown often). The bicycle is in amazing condition, but used and not perfect. It is completely original, including the handlebar tape. The Zefal hand pump is an add-on. I have only wiped the dust off for the photos, but it has not been tuned or ridden in years.
DESCRIPTION
1979 25 inch (61 cm c/t) Soma Competition 12-sp Road Bike
Complete with the full set of Shimano 600 components
Frame: 61cm Champion 2 Chrom Moly Tange (standover is 34-3/8")
Serial: #79-12-44852
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 600
Front Derailleur: Shimano 600
Pedals: Kyokuto Top-Run
Seat Post: SR Sakae LaPrade
Crank: Shimano 600 52; 42 170mm
Rims: Araya 27"
Tire: 27 x 1-1/8 “ Specialized (dry and require replacement before riding)
Shifters: Shimano 600
Brakes: Shimano 600
Handle: Nitto Olympiade 115
Tube Length 61 cm
Saddle: Leather Speedic Professional
Pump: Zefal hp
Please understand that this is a used bike and will need a tune-up, other regular maintenance service and tire/tube replacement to be in riding condition. Alternatively, this frameset is a perfect foundation for classic fixie.
I have put some effort into accurately depicting the bicycle’s flaws and attributes. Please - No rides, No scams, No credit, No swaps, No tire kickers, No surprises. Just cash, carry and enjoy. If you have questions, I’ll do my best to answer them.

I check the CL every morning when I get into work, and this morning I found this...

Absolutely beautiful...and my size. Honestly I think he could get more for it, because it looks to be in great shape and completely decked out.

I would love that bike, and it's close enough to my size to get away with it too

Re: The LA/Orange Co Craig's List Bike. This bike was made as a show piece for the Interbike Show somewhere around 1991 1992. It was built up by I Martin Imports, a bike store in LA. They delivered it to a photographer for a photo shoot and the picture was made into a poster, a copy of the poster hangs above my computor. (Above picture.) My poster is signed by Antonio Columbo, son of the founder of Columbus Tubing, also by Valentino Campagnolo, son of Tulio Campagnolo and founder of that company.
After the Interbike Show the bike went to I Martin Imports, and was eventually sold. Like most of the frames I built I had no idea where it went, until today when I saw it on LA Craigs list.
The frame is a 57cm. (C to T.) 55cm. (C to C.) If the bike is in good condition, the asking price is fair, a lot of money but not overpriced. I hope whoever buys it will contact me, it is nice to keep track of where the bikes are.
Dave Moulton
(Footnote.) For some reason the picture wouldn't post here. The link to the page is here. Click on the pic for a larger image.

Not sure if the price is too high, but there's a rather nice 1992 59-cm Mercian KoM (looks like Vincitore lugs though?) custom w/Campy Record bits for £471 ($671 US) on eBay. Then again, I'm a bit of a Mercian fanboy, so...

Exceedingly rare Canopus Epsilon road bike with Campagnolo Super Record headset, Belleri handlebars, and a Shimano 600 gearset. Ultra-light hand made Columbian frame fashioned from either Columbus SL or SP tubing. This is a beautiful bike but far more performance than I need for my short trips around town. Apart from a broken valve on the back tube the bike is ready to ride. Feel free to call Jeffrey at 503-869-1404 with any questions (no texts please) or to set up a time to come and take a look. Cash only.
