Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hmmmm. Can't remember what we drank at Allegheny. It was the late 70s, so we tended to smoke more than we drank, if you catch my drift.

Though the last two years I had a friend with a car, and we'd go over to Woodcock to what every one called Harold's, but was actually called the Woodcock Inn, and drink Black And Tans.

I googled it and I am surprised by the grapes. Basically grapes popular southern France especially the Rhone region.
At 13% and 63% Syrah, I'd expect it to be kinda chewy.

Maybe Genesee or cream ale? I had my share of that when I was a ute. Also the wine is surprising, I was guessing mostly pinot noir since it is cherry red and silky smooth with little to no tannins and very acidic. Not chewy at all.

They said it was on ESPN News, but we don't do cable.

They switched back just in time for the Duck's second touchdown. Sooooo glad they didn't spend too much time with recap and analysis. I imagine some people were doing more than just yelling at the TV like we were
