Sophomore year at Pitt (82-83) I went on a brief Old German stint. It was $3/case so that was attractive to my frugal sensibilities. Problem was it sucked and it gave me a raging headache by beer 3. I moved on to Old Mil and Iron. Pitchers at a bar were $2.50 back then.

Speaking of wine, here is tonight's selection. Initial impression is very good acidity similarly to a burgundy. This is a red blend so I'm not sure what it is exactly. Would be great with most food, since the tannins are minimal. It is also organic so I get virtue signaling points.
I googled it and I am surprised by the grapes. Basically grapes popular southern France especially the Rhone region.

I tossed a "good" Slime tube today, when installing a new tire today. The slime clogged the valve. Annoying. So, I installed a new non-Slime tube.
