Vain, But Lacking Talent
For sure. I built up a previous bike with this setup as a do-it-all commuter. I had a wreck and destroyed that frame (and my knee) and ended up building the Crockett frame later on. It's perfect for night rides and the B&M light is so much better than the handelbar mounted stuff you get out there. I'm actually really looking forward to using it in the summer when there is a night time gravel grinder put on by the same guy who put on the ride I just did. It's a Shutter Precision hub which is an affordable brand, but does really well and is pretty negligible in terms of drag when it's not being used.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
I forgot to mention how the 35mm Gravelking slicks did. They were awesome. I'm big, so I ran them at 50 rear and 45 front, which is way above where most people would put them for gravel but I was trying to avoid pinch flats. There were a few sections where I was pedaling through under load and the bike was bouncing all over the place, but for the most part they were pretty perfect. No pinch flats or cuts and I didn't feel beat up at all by the end, even though the bike did bounce pretty hard through a few rough sections.

Did 26 miles today (longest ride for me... barely hung in there for the last couple).
I've objectively determined it's not possible for any God fearing human with only one ass to cycle any farther than that.
I failed at my goal of 15 mph average, but there were more stop lights than I'm used to so maybe I would have hit it... who knows? #need a power meter.

Not me. I pride myself on running on time. My time is valuable, and I don't like to wait. I feel I should extend the same vibe to my patients.
What bothers me is when a patient has a 15 minute time slot and shows up 14 minutes into the visit. We don't want to turn the patient away, but it really makes it hard for me to run on time.

No. New patients get 30 minutes. Physicals get 30 minutes. Complicated patients get 30 minutes. But the rest are 15 minutes. I know it's not much time, but my nurse spends 10 minutes with them (before I see them) to get vitals, update history, etc. so I can be efficient and spend 15 minutes without rushing. Usually.

This new doctor, I don't know. If he thinks PAs and FNPs can deal with this, he's wrong.
