Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The only thing I've read is "no charges were filed". This seems typical for car vs cyclist or car vs pedestrian.

Just planned 15 days of healthy, low carb, cruising meals, always a somewhat aspirational exercise. Long-suffering spouse wants me to make sure I have lots of high-calorie snacks and junky desserts because she worries about me. We will also take a lot of whey protein powder. Got a big day of shopping and cooling tomorrow.

Nature hates me.

If you wanted max awesome you should have gone for a custom orange paint job.

Slow night. Everyone must be planning their meal tomorrow.

I'm having cereal. That done I've moved on to listening to '80s/'90s music videos on YouTube.

Today, we traded breathable air for sunlight. My plan to ride in the garage was ruined by Mrs GeneJockey, who decided this was the perfect time to take all the stacks of boxes of useless crap that she's accumulated and spread them around the garage floor, to "organize" them.
