Even if the spokes are rotted and the hubs need serious rebuilding, as long as the rims are not shot that is a good $20 investment. If that were in Chicago I'd be on the way over to that guys house right now.

i'm assuming the original parts he speaks of aren't seen in the pics? SR wasn't out in '71 and neither were those aero DA brake levers, or those hideous handle bars.

My dogs will eat most anything, especially the two strays. Actually, they're all strays (all four), but my GF and I found two of them together, so they're "the strays". The beagle in particular appears to have a cast iron stomach.

1983 Schwinn Superior Road bike. Hand built in Schwinns Waterford Wisconsin factory with Reynolds 531c tubing, quality investment cast Italian lugs and Campagnolo drop outs. Steel frame which is only second in quality to the Paramount in Schwinns lineup. This bike is fully equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport component group. Great condition with no dents.
