Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am generally pretty good about staying within my Calorie limits, and not eating beyond what I've burned. Last night, I did about 1000 Calories worth of zwifting, and I was still had 480 calories. I was feeling a bit peckish, so I had a bowl of cereal with milk. That left me 93 Calories in the black. I figured that was a good place to end up.

So then The Older Boy slinks out of his room, and pulls out a Trader Joe's New York Cheesecake he'd bought as a treat for us after a day of having the HVAC guys all over the damn house. Ended up 300+ Calories in the red. Luckily, tomorrow is supposed to be reasonable riding weather.

I don't think that correcting a nails-on-a-chalkboard error meets the threshold of pedantry.

I do not support this message.
My Allez is six years old this year. Hmm.

I hope the forecast is wrong, but as of now they are calling for a major snow event to start tomorrow and intensify on Monday.

My stupid snow blower has a fuel issue and I can’t solve it. I almost wonder if a fuel line has a “vent” to it? If so and it’s blocked, that would explain the problem. Runs for 30-60 seconds then dies. Restart and runs again 30-60s and dies. Etc. ad infinitum.

Or more likely the carb is gunked up.

I don't find that pedantic at all. In that case, I find that little wrapper is doing the world a favor. The person that decided to put it on there? Bad ass x2

Was that on one ride, or cumulative miles?
