I had a cardiac checkup yesterday that I was anxious to attend, and now that I've been certified clear on that front I'm not going anywhere else, and I'm going to (try to) convince the missus of the same.

Well...The first night's campground (NJ state forest) is closed and the ferry I need to take day 2 is not accepting foot traffic starting tomorrow. Unless things change, the Holy Week tour is DOA.

I would be quite surprised if my company made the decision to shut down.
I'm in aerospace manufacturing, so we are pretty insulated from a lot of the supply chain issues that other industries might face. Pretty much everything is domestically sourced and locally processed, so unless the local area is hit hard we will likely maintain more or less the status quo.
Some minor adjustments are being made, naturally, like only allowing essential visitors access to the facility for maintenance and the like, but otherwise life goes on as normal.
My wife's current retail job may be in jeopardy, but she has a recent history of being a nanny to a local family who is likely going to be in need of care again soon, so it doesn't look like much will change for us.
Considering myself very fortunate at the moment. I know it won't be as easy for everyone else

That's dumb. Isn't there plenty of space for social distancing? You could even promise to sanitize your paws.

One option would be to make vehicle passengers stay in the cars and let foot traffic on. That would provide more space. However, if the weather is cold and/or wet people will come together in the cabins. When that happens, things can get a bit crowded.

Scroll down in this Foo thread. A mod posted really clever (and funny) song lyrics written by a friend.

I am thinking of putting myself on a self-imposed Twitter ban. The level of snarky-ness, condescension, etc. has really become a downer. It seems like if we’re skewering somebody or commenting on every tidbit of info not inline with our own thinking, they’re fair game for ridicule. I’ve seen some funny and pithy stuff but most of what I’ve seen lately are a lot of unhappy people.

My boss's boss was not looking or sounding great on today's leadership call. He's a good man, completely devoted to the mission, and I am worried for him.

PBK has an additional 15% off right now, which puts some Fulcrum wheels (Racing 7 Disc) at $193 delivered. That's notsobad for some slightly piggy, but solid wheels. Having discs has mostly obviated the notion of foul weather wheelsets for me, but it'd be nice to have a trainer wheel for shoulder seasons (so that I can quickly and easily swap between riding inside and riding outside) and to have them around as spares for spoke breakage, etc. Hmmmmm...
