Headed to Cumberland, MD, later this morning to do an up and back on the Great Allegheny Passage starting tomorrow. I'll try to check in from the road when there is service. IIRC from my first time on the GAP, service is spotty in places.

I hear adverts on the radio all the time for lawyers who can help extricate people from their timeshares. Apparently it's quite a cottage industry.

When my father died, I just told them to **** off about 100 times and eventually off they ****ed. I don't think the estate paid them a dime.

My sore knee has improved greatly since the massage. And my fitness is returning too. And the weather is cooling down some. As a result, I overcooked it on yesterday's ride and was worthless the rest of the day. Today is a rest day and I'm enjoying it already.

This advertisement used some scare tactics and said that if you pass away, the payment obligations will continue to your kids. Sad!

Please tell me you don't say "sohntometer" for centimeter. That's a snooty physician affectation that drives me NUTS! One of my partners does it. Crazy! I think it's pseudo-French.

Oh, and I don't say "kit," either.

I first heard it at my medical school. I initially thought it was a Jefferson affectation, but not everyone there said it, and I have come to the conclusion that it's a snooty doctor affectation.

Like the bowtie? That was a sure sign when I was a trainee in Boston, where great herds of snooties roamed.

It's a relaxing type of day for me: Vuelta and cortadito.
Note the BF decal on my Mac
