Not sure if you are familiar with Long Island but I surf in Long Beach.
Only photo i'll ever post of myself on this site since you can't see my face lol. This was last winter. I actually do most of my surfing over the winter as it is less crowded and cycling takes up most of my time in the summer.

Has coddling tendencies.
My definition of sucking is changing. Today I thought I was the suck on a familiar tough climb, but then finished 4 minutes behind my best time. While riding I thought I'd finish 10 minutes over that BT benchmark. Doesn't mean I don't suck. I just suck less than I did.

The last time I changed a flat, I timed myself on a stop watch. 4:35, and it only too that long because now I really take time to inspect the tire casing for debris. Of course nobody gets more punctures on this board than I do. TRUST me on this. You really have no idea. I think it's because I ride too far over to the right. That's OK. I'd rather fix a puncture than get flattened by a car. I've been getting a flat almost once a week. Hell, I started PATCHING tubes. I never used to do that before.

How difficult would it really be to let someone who regularly posts in this forum to moderate it?

I believe I was nominated by one or some here and it was ignored by management.

It is new since October and this is the second time I have seen it in person. We ride on different teams and since the Tuesday/Thursday fast guy ride is closed down until March we probably won't see each other that much on the road for a while. I think that he went "Red" on the build, if my memory serves.

Yeah, Lith.
I hope all goes well with you two. I'll say a prayer for you both.

I was a mod for awhile, it's kind of a pain in the butt to be honest. For the most part I think the racing forum does a pretty good job of self moderating.

I was taking recovery weeks when I was able to put in 4-hour outdoor rides and get my weekly hours up to 15. At my current workload I don't seem to feel it that much. Mustering the inspiration to put in more hours/day in the indoor training room is the problem.
Actually I am paying attention to one metric above all, and that is TSS/week, which is working out to be around 600. If I'm able to ramp up the TSS load then I might have to throw in an easy week or two.

I feel ready to race. I'm thinking of hitting some roller and CT races for an early Feb peak and I'll wind this up to end my season the 2nd week of March.
