Which Front Derailleur for my build?
I am building my bike up and so far have used everything SRAM RED.
I am thinking of using the FORCE front Derailleur but was wondering if anyone thought maybe a Dura Ace Front Derailleur would be better for the bike?
Thoughts?

Go with the Force FD and the DA 7900 chain, I have the SRAM Red chain and it blows!

Probably doesn't matter at all. A front derailleur doesn't have to do much, and even the cheapest ones work great. I put a used Shimano LX off a thrift store mountain bike on my Atlantis, because I had one around when I built it. I intended to "upgrade" when I got around to it, but 12,000 miles later it's still working fine.
Edit: When I read this post, the word "great" appears twice. When I call it up to edit and remove the extra word, it's not there. One of you moderators want to explain THAT?

Just stick with a Force FD. If you're concerned about weight, then get the SRAM Red.
And why do you say SRAM 1090 chains suck? I've had no problems with them.

They are incredibly loud. If I switch to my Campy bike after riding my SRAM bike, I start looking down thinking I've lost the chain.
Personally, I'd get the Force FD. That's just what I did for my new build --- I had a complete Red group but the new frame takes a braze-on FD and I just couldn't justify shelling out more than twice as much to save a few grams.

I can clean/lube my Red chain and it will sound like a rusty, stretched-out chain on my next ride, it drives me crazy.

Yep. I've installed a KMC chain this time around. I hope it's a bit quieter.

Just to let you know the Force and Rival FDs are the same just with a different finish. I'm not sure about the Red though.

SRAM chains work and wear OK. But, they do make a bit more noise. I run both my Red and Force bikes with DA chains. Oh yeah, I'd go with the Force FD. A bit stiffer even if it weighs a bit more.

There was a poll in the weight weenies forum a couple of weeks back. DA7800 was voted the nicest FD to go with Red.
