75 is a great price but in case someone can't find it, the ebay ones arent a bad deal when you include the price of the cadence sensor.

Well, thanks to this thread I just picked up a 305 for $75 at my local Best Buy in Durham NC by Southpoint Mall. Great deal! Looked like they had at least 4 or 5 units left in the case after I bought mine.

Is it worth it?
[edit]
I called in and reserved the last one..
Apparently in the time that you picked yours up they sold another 3 and I just snagged the last one.

I was in the Best Buy today in San Diego, looking at laptops, and they sell the 305 for $175.00.

I know some of you are excited about this, but I've had 2 305's now and both failed. The first lasted about 18 months before the "auto-shut-off" feature kicked in. The 2nd lasted 10 months. I wouldn't take another 305 now unless it was given to me. Now I have a 500. Hopefully that one will last.
Thank goodness for REI's guarentee. They don't even carry the 305 any longer. I wonder if it's being discontinued by Garmin?

I figure that if they fail like that...then I can make a warranty claim...but I haven't heard of such problems before.
[edit] After reading reviews on the unit...I just called in to cancel my hold. If anyone is in the Raleigh Durham area and you want one for this price ($75) Call the Southpoint store and have them hold it for you.
Its the last one btw. I just have serious buyers remorse with everything and after reading all the reviews I decided my $75 could be put to better use elsewhere.

Two left at my Best Buy. They were being sold for $106, which is still pretty good. I picked one up for myself. Now if I can just sell off my new cyclo computer and heart rate monitor to my teammates to make some of the money back...

checked 3 stores one had it for 160.. the other nothing and the last store i checked had it for 75 dollar price. Unfortunatly they didnt have any in the store. The store rep was pretty cool and let me see the inventory on his computer. Only two other stores had it for 75 and they were out of stock. His computer showed them having 1 coming in thursday and told me if it comes in they'll hold it for me.
Ill see what happens thursday,

Nothing here in Seattle. Called to my old hood in Atlanta and they only had one in the area and it was $179.
