Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who other than Lance, the "dancing on the pedals" king. Thatv was Stage 17 TDF 2003 if I'm not mistaken. The gutsiest climb I've ever saw.

I do that too. I'm even more of an idiot when I do that as the FlightDeck clearly tells me I've exhausted my gears. And then I carry it even further by glancing back to check the cogs.

When I get tired of sitting, I stand to give my legs more of a push, but I find that I can't help but point my shoes downward, when I'm powering up a hill and standing, is this bad?
