Building a wheelset - rim recommendations

I'm building up a Centurion Dave Scott Ironman right now and I'm stuck on the wheelset. I have a set of Shimano 600EX hubs that I wanna lace into some new rims. I was thinking mavic opensports but I was wondering if anyone could recommend something on par for a lower price (around $55 in Canada) or something better for about the same price. Thanks

do you want low profile or deep section?
silver or another colour?
how many holes do your hubs have?
finally, how heavy are you?

usual recommendations are kinlin XR-270, XR-300, velocity aerohead...

Sun cr-18. Cheap, well made, durable, and very fitting to a classic build.

Sun M13II rims. Fairly light, and inexpensive.
