I'm guilty of this. Haven't ridden this one yet after the restore:

Beautiful bike... I could come by and ghost ride it into some bushes for you as that usually helps with the fear of riding the too shiny bike thing.

Seriously... I'd ride that bike... if it was not a little tall for me... and would probably be stopping every 5 miles to wipe off any smudges.

Just for grins. These are all in the United States.

Might break my own rule and post some that I am working on, or are in Bayern as well.

....and maybe some more for the record as well. Some of these are going to new homes soon so I thought it would be nice to have a memory.

Well Sixty Fiver - I do only own classic steel frame bikes - they do not hang on a wall. I ride them as often as possible. I do understand some people don't ride their bikes, they're doing something for the generations that come after us. I can understand that, though it is not my point of vue: a bicycle is a machine and riding it gives it a reason to be. That does not mean I don't take care of my bikes - I really do.
I just love to see them smile. Here's a pic of the one I ride most of the time at the moment, a 1978 Motobécane Grand Touring. It may be not on-topic here to some people, to me it does. Lovely bike and lovely ride.

Although Sheldon wrote about Fuji's, "Not a whole lot collectible here" in his pricing guide, I like to think he was just trying to game the market.

For snobbish purposes, let's keep the bikes high-end, everyone! Not to say that any of the bikes I've seen are junk- just stay dilligent and keep your noses tilted high!
