The Badger was breaking up a protest by union shipyard workers, apparently at Paris-Nice. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqMqCc1Qy7E

Holy Cow! Is that a woman, he's beating up in that old pic???!
LeMond had enougn bad blood with the guy that they could have gotten into a big fight too. Too bad it didn't happen cause I think the "Badger" will have his hands full if it did, ..............but Cyrille would have surely not approved....

Smallish stature and seemingly gender neutral looking clothing must have fooled my brain....
Still looks like the badger was pounding what looks like a non-resistive person (Union worker?) though. What a bully... a very rich bully. I guess it's one for "the man" again.....
Why can't they all be nice like uhmmm.......Bob Roll??.......

Inspiring Gaucho777... You have to be one of the most audacious BF members around, just to bite off a project like that - but your patience and perseverance has paid off.

In other news...I'd mentioned above that my next project was to be my brother's Peugeot (of unknown model with Campy SR group) bought in France circa '84 and stored at my mother's house in Portland. I've just learned that bike was sold at a garage sale for $40. Let's hope it wasn't Drew...
