Barrington Hills - Penny Road - Lost my gps - Garmin 305
I departed penny road pub tonight solo around 5:30pm and headed west down penny road. I remember looking down at my gps and if memory serves it said 1.43mi. When I was just about to bateman rd I noticed I no longer had a gps! Somewhere right near healy rd it must have fallen off. Between all the pot holes and closer than ever cars passing by I didn't even notice it fall off. First time I road out there this year and I lose it! I went back and forth for nearly an hour and couldn't find it. Really surprised I didn't find it since I realized so quickly and went back right away. Could have been hit by a car and shot way off or bounced funny and ended way out into the tall grass. Maybe someone picked it up right before I got back to it. Who knows. I know a slim chance but if anyone here finds or hears of it let me know.
Also, I wonder if the police dept or village or something has a lost and found? Anyone know? I posted on craigslist.
