New bike! Picked up my first full suspension, a 2009 Cannondale Rize4 on closeout at a LBS. So far, I'm loving it! 140mm in the front, 130mm in the rear and coming in pretty light stock at 28#. I plan on adding a new Stans Arch/Hope hub wheelset when my 29er sells. I should be able to drop another 1-2#, but even at this weight it's very quick on the climbs and a confident descender.

Thanks mate.

In regards to the vegetation, I do live in Australia, so we've just our first two weeks of summer. We've also had our wettest Spring in something like 20 years, so the vegetation really is flourishing!

It was quite thick and lush throughout most of the trails, I'd never seen it like that before.

It's more like a cream soda type of thing. Thankfully, not a Blue Nehi.

Flexy bikes are the best when stopping to take pics, drink beer, and eat munchies.

The internet told me so.

Thanks dminor.

It still needs some work. I rebuilt the shock a few years ago and never rode it after the rebuild. Progressive is no longer around so ill just ride the shock till it dies and replace with a Rock Shox Vivid.

Still trying to decide on brakes. The wheelset is going to be swapped with a 36h Transition Revolution wheelset and ill install a Hussefelt crank, Holzfeller stem, Woodman bars, ill swap the saddle to something a little more roadieish... haha...

Still undecided on a few things but all in all, its coming back together. I rode this frame a few years ago and cracked it by the seat stay/chain stay weld. Typical brake for these frames. A friend of mine that used to build frames for Yeti when they were based out of Durango, CO rewelded the frame and added a gusset in the area. Iv since had it powdercoated and am slowly building back.

It will be fun.
