Never been there, but there's a steep road to try pedaling up the K-horn -- check on quaeldich.de
In daytrip riding range (for me) would be the Krimml waterfalls -- but I haven't heard that you can see them while actually pedaling on the paved road.
A spectacular mountain road in that region, but kinda far to ride there and back in a day from Kitzbuehel is the Zillertaler Hoehenstrasse -- rather pretty and rather steep [ my experience ].
I've also thought of trying to ride a loop on the roads with Kitzbuehel and the roads to its southwest (including the road over the Gerlos pass by the Krimml waterfalls), but not sure when I'll get the chance to try it. The loop would go right past the Zillertaler Hoehenstrasse, but trying to ride both the H-strasse and the loop in one day is way too much for me.

Hello Europe forum!
I'm going to be in Kitzbuhel in March. It seems the average temps are above freezing but not particularly warm. Is it worth it for me to bring my road bike (Ritchey Breakaway travels in airplanes well) and check out what seems like a large number of places to ride:
https://www.kitzbuehel.com/en/activit...-mountainbike/
can't tell if "cycle path" means no cars, but regardless it could be fun.
I'd be interested in mountain biking but would have to rent a bike. Looks like there might be some shops there.
