Bikes: Currently--1978 Schwinn Le Tour III hand me down, 2006 Kona Sutra frame I am currently building up. Past bicycles: 2010 Surly LHT, 2008 Trek 3900 MTB. Childhood bicycles: 1992/3? Giant Attraction, a Huffy, a Mongoose BMX style bike, first bike a BMX.

Shimano 105 Front Derailleur Question
Hey all,
I am in the process of doing my first bicycle build up. I'm trying to install a Shimano 105 Front Derailleur on my Kona Sutra '06 frame, and I can't find the right place to mount it correctly. According to the specs for this frame model and year, this is the correct front derailleur to install. There is a brazed on vertical rectangular piece in the spot that it seems like it should go. What should I do?
Can anyone help me on this next step?
