How's your "winter" going?
It's gone!
On our usual weather site, this is the information for the past 5 days:
Wed Jan 18 -- 29°C (84.2F)
Tue Jan 17 -- 32.1°C (89.78F)
Mon Jan 16 -- 31.5°C (88.7F)
Sun Jan 15 -- 29.6°C (85.28F)
Sat Jan 14 -- 24.9°C (76.82F)
And apparently it is supposed to keep doing that for the next 5 days.

Northern Illinois has only had two snowfalls, which have melted with with day temps way above freezing. That's all good because it means I still haven't put the bike on the trainer yet. Probably be spoiled next year when we get winter back.

DC-area averages mid-upper 40s during the day in December...I'm guessing very few days were below 50 this December. January averages low-mid 40s for a daytime high. This January, it's been all over the map....mid-30s some days, mid-60s others. I'd guess the average is still well above "normal." No snow yet, but we've apparently had 16 other first-half-of-winters without recorded snow.
We deserve this after two unusually cold winters. Great for biking, but maybe not so great for folks who figure they can tough it out in freezing conditions to gain an advantage come spring.
My weather geek friends predicted this, and they're also predicting that February is likely to be significantly colder here.

Great, its going great. High 60s and low 70s. Its just what the chamber of commerce has in their brochures. Not quite as sunny as I would like but who's complaining. I need to rub it in now cause in the summer time...

The "winter" here in NorCal has been quite dry. It has been sunny and dry so far in January. We finally expect a storm by the end of the week.

I moved to Richmond from Miami last month, and I was worried I'd have to limit my riding time with weather dipping into the freezing realm regularly, but so far it's been warm enough that I've been able to ride almost every day, after the acquisition of some booties, warm gloves, tights, a beanie, and a couple long sleeve jerseys plus a jacket. I'm sure it won't be this mild forever, but I'm enjoying it for now.
