just got done taping bars ( very poorly )14.1 lbs as seen. built with cheap ( heavy parts )

I'm in the process of converting my Cross Check to single speed. It's not going to come in anywhere near 14 pounds. For now, I'll share my old '77 Gitane Gypsy Sport. It was a bit over 14 pounds too.

I'm not really sure what a single speed 10 speed is. Maybe a converted road bike?

Like a SSCX-ified Trek 660, perhaps.

Doesn't that thing have a BB30 bottom bracket? You need to lose the chain tensioner. It's very unsexy.
