Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lets see your Cannondale Synapse.....

I just got a 2011 carbon 6 apex synapse. I have a few short rides on it so far and I love it. As soon as I get some good pics I will post it. Let's see yours. How do you like it?

Here is mine

I know the bars are angled up like crazy. I snapped the picture before I got it dialed in.

Tire size?

I don't mean to threadjack, but this seemed like a good place to ask... Has anyone tried running 28 tires on the carbon synapse? I'd like to know if they fit before buying some, it seems like the rear brake bridge might be a problem. I'm looking for something a bit more forgiving on rocky/dirt roads.

I only had my Synapse for a couple of months, but really like it so far. I'll try to get a pic. on the next ride and post it.

I love this thread. I haven't a clue why we haven't paid homage to the Synapse before this.

I just put together a sub 14lb Supersix Hi-mod. It's great, but I'm honestly torn between which bike to keep.

I wanna show mine off, but I'm out of country at the moment. Synapses are rarely talked about on here. These bikes all look great!! I love mine to death and miss riding.

I should see if I can find pictures of my 2007 alloy Synapse. Before and after I was hit from behind. Loved the bike but it got smashed. I now ride a Scott CR1. All nice looking bikes above.

Is that a mostly stock hi-mod model (since those come with Red) or did you upgrade? In either case, what are your thoughts on the SLK crank?
