Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Picture as requested. I know i need to make some adjustments but I am new to road bikes and 5'7 and 240 so as I lose weight i will make suitable adjustments. Any recommendations on a pro fitment in the miami area?

No recommendation on fitter but are your knees feeling OK when you ride?

2012 Cannondale Super Six Ultegra Di2

Yeah knees feel fine. My only problem so far is numbness in my index and middle finger's on my first couple of rides. Probably need to put more weight on my seat and less on my hands. I am less numb every time i ride but after 20 minutes or so i one hand it for 30 seconds or so. I think i could raise the seat some because I have moved farther back on the seat and my knees are not as straight now as when I was fitted at LBS. It was just a eyeball fit.

Are you wearing gloves that have badding on the balls of palm? I get weird numbness due to the nerve endings you have in your palm if I don't wear some sort of padded gloves and my bike is 100% well-fit and comfy besides that.

No gloves. I am hoping as I build a stronger core and lose weight I will have less pressure on my hands. I will look into some if the problem continues.

Be very careful. Usually cyclists get neuropathy in the ring and pinky finger due to have the nerves branch but the index and middle can mean you're putting pressure on your wrist.

I have neuropathy from a ride on a spinning machine and it has never gotten better. 1/2 my hand is still numb.

if you buy a frame and set it up not as it was intended, it will not function as it was intended or as you wanted. should have gone with a really nice hybrid.
