If you have a pair of their running shoes, buy the same size. I have a pair of Addidas A3 running shoes, and bought a pair of Frosco cycling shoes; same size as my running shoes and fit me perfect. Congrats for not going Nike!

I've been tempted to try Adidas, but wear an "E" width. Any comments for wide feet (but not "boat oar" wide)?

I found the Adidas mountain shoes run very true to size, but the road shoes seems a bit too tight in the same size. I've had several mid priced shoes, and the Adidas are right up there with my favs from Specialized.

I just bought a pair adidas road comp shoes b/c they were 75% off at nashbar. They are a bit too narrow for me but usable. They're pretty true to size otherwise, i wear a 9.5/10 and bought a 10, it's fine. Shoes were a steal so no complaints here. Otherwise I'd go with something like a pair of SIDI Genius for sure.

I have a pair of the Adistars also. They are true in length, but quite narrow. Good thing I have narrow feet and thin socks. No problem with the zipper (yet) after 5 months.

BTW... My A3 running shoes are size 10US... My Frosco's are also 10US. I don't think I have narrow feet, but maybe I do. I weigh about 200 lbs. though, so I think my feet wouldn't be narrow or else I might have some problems.

I have extremely narrow feet. I have always worn adidas soccer shoes, and I thought they would be a good fit for cycling shoes

Adidas Cycling
Hi
I see you use the Frosco shoes.Im a road rider who had the Adidas road cycling shoes back in the 80s, and mid 90's and they were really too wide in the forefoot for me.Can you tell me if any of the later road bike models are narrow, like my new Adidas Kanadia Trail running shoe? Im happy with how they fit, biut when I get my cycling shoes, there usually too wide! How frustrating. I check for adidas shoes at Bike Nashbar, and all the Adidas stock is in small sizes.
Can you rerer me? I need either an 11.5 or 12.My Adidas Kanadia trail runner is size 12 US.
Thanks for your attn

I own Adidas cycling and soccer shoes. They're both size 11 US. The cycling shoes are considerably wider than the soccer boots. I find Adidas road cycling shoes to be no narrower than most of my 100 plus pair shoes. Unless you were blessed with flippers, you've got nothing to lose with their road shoes. I love mine

My foot is wide at the toes and the heel is normal. I have never been able to wear Adidas shoes, they are way to small in the toes. After many years of trying on Nike shoes I gave up because I could not get a pair with enough room in the ball/toe area.
Now I wear a pair of shimano cycling shoes and have had little problem with them (they could use a little more arch support/and the soles are a little flexy) nothing that would keep me from riding 60+ miles. I just got a Pair of Sidi's for x-mas and had to exchange them for the next size down... 45, same size as my shimano's. The sidi's should be here next week.
I am tempted to try Nike running shoes again, but New balance makes wide shoes more availability, though last time I bought a pair of new balance I ended up with a pair of 11.5d (no ee available), I normally wear 10.5d dress shoes.
I have everything from 10e to 11.5d in my closet... I hate shoe shopping!

My Adidas road shoes fit nicely and are extremely comfortable. I am a 11-1/2 3E and they handle the wide foot just fine.
