It was 8F outside so my lock was basically worthless, like it wouldn't even stretch. Just sayin' : P. I'm going to have to add more security to my bikes if ya catch my drift. Ok ok it's a GPS device, and yes you can probably get around that just as easy as a lock. But hey at least I tried : D. Once they start making a variety of GPS trackers for bicycles and not just 2 options I'm sure more of ya will hop on board. Personally I think the rear blink light GPS is a silly waste of time. I mean seriously? Someone steals your light thinking it's just a light and walks off with a 200 dollar piece of hardware. The head tube version has to be removed with a special hand movement of sorts. And if your a thief removing an armed tracker, well, I hope you're bigger than I am. : D cause in about 30 seconds I'ma be outside with my WTF?! face and WTF!? baseball bat.

I suspect that more operate on complete denial. I have a friend who left a $7,000 bicycle unlocked outside a bakery that was a popular stop with cyclists and distraught when it did not wait for him faithfully, but disappeared on its own. He said he was riding with other cyclists, and none of them locked their bikes either, but theirs were not stolen. He also said that he used to live in that neighborhood and knew how high the general crime rate was.
