Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hardly a flame throwing rant. More like delusional stream-of-consciousness drivel. Hard to read, harder to understand, making no sense. I think the proper response is, "Say WHAT?"

if you explore his website, you will see this guy is all about full armour gear and full face helmet and hybrids are the way to go. His videos that he puts up shows him passing "poser" roadies. He also mentions that he is a "master cyclist".

"Therefore only Highly Trained and Cyclists should attempt to ride Hybrids at their peak performance levels, and should always wear full-faced helmets and full body armour whenever cycling!"

Apparently "experts" spend "80% of their time on inclines of 10% or higher". I'd hate to see how steep the downhill sections must be during the other 20% of the ride to get him back to the start!

Indeed.
I don't think there's any need to analyse this stuff, though.
A child can see that this guy is either trolling or a complete idiot.

"Less than 10% of cyclists care about the earth." Hmm, seems like a legit statistic. That guy likely has a few screws loose. I guess wearing body armor and passing roadies with an e-bike is a better outlet than torturing animals or something of that sort.

This is a person without a life outside of his bike. Seeking psychiatric help would be good.

This reads like a conspiracy theory website, and the self righteousness of the author is palpable. Good thing he is obviously joking.

To be a poser, you should first care about what others think and let that influence your actions. It seems that he is more guilty of that than anyone else.

However, this seems like a joke. I mean, it has to be right?

Maybe it's all to cover up his "poser" issues.

After all he wears full body-armor and helmet for a bike. A poser motorbike rider if I've ever seen one.

Or a bomb-squad technician in training.
