I'd mount in on the garage floor.

The thread is "what don't you like about my bike". I don't have to ride his bike, so aesthetically, that is one of the things that looks unappealing to me.

We on day two of the pissing contest or something?

Call me crazy but I don't much care for the vigs new colorway, other than that it's perfect.

What can I say -- I work in the print world and with the way things are going digital, it won't be relevant much longer (if it even is now for most people), gotta get it in while I can.

That's the worst I can come up with on that bike, and it doesn't even bother me all that much... Sweet bike.

That's because it's more important to slam the rear wheel than to have proper chain tension.

That sure seems to be the trend. I guess the 3.207 fewer mms really make it handle like a dream.

"Pipe Cleaner" seatpost looks wonky in that seat tube.

Squidpuppet: Should I get the leader aero seat post? Ive been on the fence about purchasing a new one, but my seat post isnt that high up so I'm worried that the aero seat post won't fit or it'd look funky. Maybe next time I'm in SoCal I'll take a down to Scrod's shop and see if I can test out Leader's Aero seatpost to see if itll even fit me. Sucks having short legs...

Also I realized that my seat rails were loose when I fell off of my bike not more than 5 minutes later

Soo_Fuego: Those are FSA Compact Drops, I got them from Retrogression a while back. After using a bunch of drops and disliking all of them, I bit the bullet and got these and since then I haven't thought about swapping bars.

Use what YOU dig. To me the standard round tube just looks out of place with the rest of the frame. But it aint my bike.

Thanks, the multiple shades of gold are starting to bug me. Kind of want to get rid of the seatpost and spacers and go black, chain ring looks kinda close to the wheels, I think (I'm red green color blind). Frame is actually too big, according to my bike fit I need a 60cm ST and a 55cm TT, that bike is 57.7cm TT and 58cm ST.

Other than that, I think it's a pretty good looking bike.
Thanks, I'd like to run brakeless but don't want to deal with cops and that 1 "oh ****" occasion. Been hit once, not that the brake made a difference at the time. I got a wife and kids haha

yeah I've only had it built for a week or so so I'm still working out the saddle placement and I agree the chain is a little goofy

my daily commute to and from work is a whopping total of 1.8 miles so the tires were more of a curiosity than anything else

e: which is not to say I built it as a commuter, I have other bikes for that

^ lol at that lever mount
@kite991 how are you liking that crankset? I ordered one for my 721 and it only lasted a day. The threads were messed up on my drive side and my pedal stripped it's way out. I ended up changing to the rd2. The black looks good on your bike.

Wow that's crazy. I too am running with RD2s though with the Sugino Messenger Chainring (bought from retrogression). I havent had any issues with them since I've switched to my 725.

Also: I like Aero seatposts, but I think maybe if my frame was flatter looking like the 735 it would look better, but I do like my carbon fiber leader seatpost I got for 40$
