Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Your last post here was four years ago, and you're responding to someone who hasn't posted in five years. We just like to keep things current.

Zombies are current, just look at all the rubbish on tv. They're just not particularly relelvant.
Zombie threads are rather tiresome though, especially seeing all he's doing is giving a long winded answer to something that's been discussed countless times since. Still, from his reply, he enjoys true entitlement and who are we to ... wonder what happened to the ignore button.

Has it really been 5 years?

For the record - if I remember the bike properly, I ended up learning to build wheels, built up some deep-Vs on a miche hub for this frame, and rocked it brakeless with mustache bars and bright orange Oury grips for about 3 years, then abandoned it on a curb when I moved out of state. Maybe it's still living on for someone else.
