Circa mid 1980's frame and fork offered for trade. Mavic GP4 tubular and Shimano 600 wheelset available too. Hand built in the Saratoga Springs, NY vicinity. Columbus SP from my reading of the brochure.

No MTB's please, I have more than I need of rigid Treks, Stumpjumpers, and Miyatas. Looking for a frame in 57-58cm, ideally a Paramount Waterford or Bianchi frame that doesn't need refinishing.

Have 57cm CTC (58 cm CTT) Chesini Arena Frame and fork. It has been resprayed black. Columbus SL tubing. Panographing on seattubes, headtube, brake bridge. Cutout BB shell. Fork is an older kenesis with carbon blades and aluminum crown/ends. Looking for something similar in a 55cm CTC frame. I personally stripped this down and repainted it so I can assure you it did not have any dents or bad rust. I have pics of the frame primed in the album as well. I would like to keep the headset and seatpost and could also do just a frame trade and keep the fork.

I could also be interested in a trade for a quality frame around a 51cm.

GONE TO NEW HOME

Until now, I've mostly just traded small easily shippable bits on here, but thought I'd try to find a new home for this frame.

60cm Gitane Super Corsa frameset (1982-84 best I can tell) with Stronglight Competition bottom bracket as installed. Super Vitus 980, chrome fork, internal cable routing. Would be a super light rider. I do have a couple other Spidel/Simplex bits from it I might consider parting with if someone is looking for a specific rebuild. I'm happy to send other pics and details if anyone is interested.

I'd consider a variety of frame trades in the 58cm size. I'm a sucker for anything unusual or touring frames or just interesting graphics.

Nothing special, but maybe someone needs one: a 1977 Nishiki International frame, 19 1/2 c-c. Hi-ten tubing. Paint sound but many scrapes and scratches. Chrome on fork is excellent. Original headset and BB included--no apparent problems with either although they obviously need to be repacked. Would trade for a similar 25"/63 cm frame. Maybe an old UO-8? PM me with a regular email address and I'll send photos--I can't attach photos to a PM for some reason.

Anyone willing to trade Cannondale frames? I've concluded that this one is too small for me. Hoping for similar condition in a 60cm or thereabouts. I believe this one is a 56-57ish. Open to other colors. Grey, darker blue, etc. Show me what you have. I can take more detailed pictures this evening. If I remember correctly this is an ST400, and has rack mounts(front and rear) fender mounts, as well as 3 bottle cage mounts. Hoping for something similarly equipped, but if yours has canti brakes I will even kick in some more if you'd like?,,,,BD

Has a couple of scratches, but no dents. Overall looks stunning in person.



Kickstand has been removed. You can tell one was installed but just barely. It was installed correctly, with no crushing force, etc.

Have:

54cm (21½") 1983 Trek 620 frame and fork, fair condition, w/ SR Laprade post.

Looking for:

50cm (19½") Cro-Mo frame/ fork with horizontal dropouts, 531 or comparable. English threading, 68mm BB.

Preference for Japanese or USA production frame/ fork, same vintage/ equal to the 620, but geometry is not an issue.

This 60 Trek fits OK I just don't care for it. The paint is rough, as I got it, but I was able to cobble on a pair of shifter bosses. It isn't the prettiest thing around but I am not expecting much in return.

I am looking to trade for anything in ChroMo with decent dropouts ina 58 or 59. Most any gauge Tange or maybe one of those fancy Peugeot 501 frames, even a Valite. I am considering swapping the Nexus from the MAX frame it is currently on to something else. I'll try and get some better pics up when I get back for the Dr.

BD I don't have anything your size to trade, but if you end up parting out or this opens up into a multiple-way trade, that frame looks pretty good to me. What I have is not at that level, but I'm willing to throw in extras. My too-small frame is a 1987 Miyata 312, about 54cm.

I have a 1982 Schwinn Traveler Frame and fork up for grabs. Technically, I have the entire bicycle, but am mainly looking for a smaller frame to work with. I would trade frames and forks, or entire bicycles I guess.

Head badge # is 1562.

No dents or bends in frame or fork.

It is the largest model Traveler, with the top tube measuring 27".

Minor nicks in paint, overall in decent shape Id say.

I have one pic of it right now, but can take more detailed photos if anyone becomes interested and requests them.

Almost any medium sized frame would work for trade.

Just tossing this out there... I've recently acquired a 1981 Trek 616 (610 frame I believe) that's too big for me. I'll probably end up selling it but I could be convinced to keep it if I found the right size frame.

This frame is 52cm center-center. Reynolds 531 main tubes. Decent condition, some scratches and a little surface rust but overall looks quite nice.

I'm looking for something very small, a 48cm frame that builds up to 29.5" standover or under. Doesn't have to be a Trek but I'd prefer something similar in age/quality, ideally Reynolds tubing. If you have small, let me know!

I keep coming back to look at this frame, and keep wondering if I have anything worth trading for this fine looking frame? Do you still have it, and if so would a mountain bike frame that can be converted to touring duty work? I also have the Cannondale frame, though I'd love to have another C'dale to replace it.,,,,BD

I am open to a multi trade at this point? As long as it's a touring frame of some merit, or a decent sport touring frame in the 59-60 range. I guess I am cursed to not have a C'dale frame in my size unless it's a mountain bike and I'm okay with that. It's a nice ride, but I have more post showing than I'd like, and running a Technomic to get the hand elevation out of numb territory.

Will trade for any decent touring frame, or maybe a large lugged mtb frame, 23-24 inch size. I will be keeping the racks though, naturally. This was a quick "it's getting dark" install. The camera battery was also failing, so no chance for a retake.,,,,BD

Anyhow, I do have this (thinking late 70's or 80's??) Jap Schwinn SS Tange Champion deuce in 59 cm that's going to get stripped. (The Cyclone / triple group would be for her new whatever may come build). The SS is fully prepped for racks including seat stay rack inserts, fork tips have top and bottom eyelets. Frame and fork are spot on aligned but the TT has a small ding (non-structural), paint finish is marred / cosmetically challenged. I thought to get by with a 'stache' bar on it but the size is pushing a bit much for me. Just tossing the idea out there but if it interest you, PM or email. Cheer's

Bikedued, If I'm not mistaken, Cannondale's are aluminum frames, aren't they? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'd prefer steel. It's still a very generous offer. Any thing else you can dig up in the 57-59 range I'd love to check out.
