Source for rear rack / front basket for Schwinn Suburban

I'm having trouble finding good quality aluminum rear rack and front baskets for our two Suburbans. I'm looking for something with a good fit, high quality, thick bars, and a matching (or similar) set for front and back. Thanks.

Try Wald.

They're value priced, American made and you can't really beat them for quality.

Rear baskets:

Rear Baskets - Waldsports

Front baskets:

Front Baskets - Waldsports

Rear rack:

OMM White Rock Rear Rack:

OMM White Rock Rear Rack | Bike Bag

Put it all together, you'd have a nice set for your Schwinn Suburbans.

Wald, it would have been what was used originally. I have several Wald baskets that have been beaten along for close to 20 years. Pretty they ain't, functional takes the cake any day at my house.

We would have never put aluminum baskets on Suburbans when they were new. They weren't available! Wald now has some variations, but I'd go with a #1372 in front:
1372 Front Basket - Waldsports
and #535 in back. Any more capacity and you'll want a motor for the bike.

Can't put anything BUT Wald baskets on a Suburban; anything else might be considered un-American!

Walds are nice. Mine has a hole to mount on fender eyelet and a hold for axle mount. None of those holes line up so that the basket will be even remotely level. I've tried on 7 different bikes. I don't have resources to tap more holes so hopefully they will fit well on your bike.
