Padded boxer briefs under normal pants for road biking?

Does anyone use this and could recommend me on where to get a decent set? I don't like wearing lycra or tight fitting jerseys, but prefer to wear normal clothing while riding but with the extra padding for my butt area. I can use this like a boxer for underneath my normal pants to go riding.

AKA 'Liner shorts' but they cost as much as just buying cheaper (or better) bike shorts and just putting stuff over them ..

others live by online shopping they may do your search for you ..

I now ride Closer to home, primarily in track-suit warm up trousers and sweatpants.

I have two gel-seat covers on my road bike and I'm happy. Since you say you bike in "normal clothing" then I'll assume you'd be willing to trade a little style for comfort. Start with one gel seat cover, and if that's enough for you, you're done.

I ordered these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Cheap and work great. I wear them to work and they feel great. For critical mass, where speed is A LOT slower, I just throw a pair of cargo shorts over them.

those $20 liners look pretty hideous after a few washes, I gave them to a few friends as xmas presents a few years back.
I like using thinner high quality shorts like fietsbob recommends and throw shorts over it

I prefer regular clothes on regular bikes, rather than high priced special clothes OR a high priced specialty wheeled apparatus.

Aero Tech Designs "pro bike short" and wear baggy shorts over them. Thats what I do, on a road bike.

You could also get padded baggy mountain bike shorts. Then you look like your in casual shorts, but you still have the liner and padding to keep the tender bits happy I have these for the canal path (Again, Aero Tech Designs!)
