also update on that grass track bike and its mysterious green tape:

I like the "triple triangles" like the old GT track frames had, but i can't stand the extra long seat tube. especially when it's so much wider than the seat post. Reminds me of a security guard in a cheap, too big, uniform.

Agreed. A full seat mast would make more sense here. This looks more like "look and see what I can do" than to build a bike for a specific type of riding. I usually like what he does so this is a little suprising.
