They're great shoes. Light, stiff, good adjustment. A bit pricey but I saved myself a bit of scratch by buying the previous year's model on clearance at the Specialized website.

The only shoe in which my feet do not hurt. I've tried mid-range Bontragers and top-end Northwave before. I'm not a fan of anything Specialized in general, but their top-end shoes are THAT good. You'll need to get insoles separately (also from them). Half of the pro- peloton cant be wrong...

They fit narrow. I have low volume feet and between trying the wide version of the right size or going 1 size too large, I couldn't get the right fit in them. I ended up with the expert shoes which I really like and I've been trying out a pair of Bont Vaypors that are ridiculously stiff, but I'm not sold on them yet.

I was set on them for a bit, but then I tried them. They dug into the front of my foot/instep no matter the size/boa setting. On the other hand, the Giro Empires I tried felt great.
Be sure to demo some before making a decision one way or another.

I tried on a pair and fell in love. However I couldn't justify the price. Shop had the new Audax on sale for $200 and ordered a pair today. Hope to get them one day next week.
I have a 2008 vintage pair of their Pro model and really like them. I decided on the Audax because I like the Boa closure system.

I have fairly flat fleet.
The sales guy had me try on the lower models first; ending with the S-works.
What I noticed on my feet, was the height/volume of the shoe decreased as you went up in the models.
Also, the small/loose gap at the outer top of where my foot fit in the shoe closed up / better fit.
This meant the S-works fit the best.
However it was only on the S-works model that the edge of the tongue dug into my foot, so that was a no for me.
I suppose an easy fix would be to trim the tongue here.

They are great. I got them instead of the Sidi Wire. Velonews did a test in 2014 and the staff rated them tops last year. Funny someone said they fit narrow because I think they are about average and certainly wider than Sidi's

They're really good if they fit. I tried a set from 2011 for a ride or two, but weren't wider than my bonts, so I got rid of them. They looked pro though.

The Experts appear to be the S-Works from a few years ago, fwiw.

light stuff and pricey... toe box is kinda narrow for me, but I still use them in half size larger.

a year and probably 6k miles on mine, love em perfect fit. Consider one of the three different types of insoles they have available. I think I'm running blue.
