Baby got new shoes...Big ones!

My usual commuter wheelset is a pair of 27" Wolber Super Champion Mod. 58 rims, Tipo hubs, and Panaracer Pasela tires (1-1/4 in back, 1-1/8 in front). No complaints, except that the Paselas can be a little fragile. I noticed a deep gash in one of the tires, which I'll need to replace. So in the meantime, I borrowed a wheelset from another bike--Fiamme red-label rims, Campagnolo Record hubs, Robergel Trois Etoiles spokes; a bit indulgent for a commute, but a man's gotta enjoy life!--and glued up some wide 34mm Tufos tubulars. Just enough room! I don't usually go for colored tires but I think the red goes well with the bike. Nice to have a frame with clearance to spare. Now I need to find some gravel on the way home and before I give this bike a much-deserved bath.

Why bother? It'll just get dirty again.

We really should start a Cilo Pacer thread - here's mine with 33mm Challenge Chicanes - more side clearance, but not enough room for fenders!

Ride it every day. Panic when mounting cranks, chainring contacted stay, upon inspection spindle was in wrong. Flipped it and go!

Could of been because the Campag Sport cranks that were on it are slimmer then Record cranks? I bought it for the Campag drivetrain and wheels and never touched inside of it. I left the bottom bracket cause I'm not sure the next time I'll have a Swiss bike come through my hands.
