park tools pcs-9 repair stand $9.94
Not strictly vintage but this is a deal I had to share.https://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-PCS-...yp_p_img_1#Ask I just ordered one and basic shipping is free. If you apply for an amazon American express card you get a $50 credit . So apply for the card and you get the stand free plus you can order the optional tool tray and its still free.

Holy NSFW! I just put together and used my PCS-10 this evening. Granted the PCS-10 seems nicer, but not $150 nicer! You win some, you lose some.

Ordered one for myself and a few more for the local coop (they need to replace a couple really old ones anyway).

I've ordered 10 at $9.94
I'm expecting that apology message, but hoo boy, if this mistake goes through I'm going to make some coin selling these, lol.
edit: canceled, hahaha

Ah well... I got in under the wire, and my order has not been cancelled, but neither has it been shipped. Last night, the seller's Amazon store (Parts Unlimited SC) had dozens of products listed, but today their store is empty. I interpret that as "outlook not good." Curious what the outcome will be...

Actually now I'm wondering about this business. If they are legit, and small, I'm going to feel like a heel for all of us taking advantage of what was probably a huge and expensive mistake

Depends on who made the mistake. If Amazon screwed up on the business's behalf, my guilty feelings will be somewhat diminished. If the business legitimately screwed themselves, I will feel horrible. Like send the package back horrible.

mine is also shipped with tracking I ordered it for the co-op not myself, so I don't feel too bad if it arrives but yes, hopefully it was an amazon mistake and they are covering it for the business.

Mine shows it's been shipped. I checked my credit card account to see if the payment cleared, it show it's pending. I wonder if shipping labels are automatically generated when orders are received.

Company A sells product for $X
Company B undercuts the price by $1
Company A now undercuts Company B.
...
I realize there is vicious pricing on internet sales. But part of any algorithmic pricing program is to get the prices right.
Add stops so one doesn't sell at a loss?
So much of pricing is to charge the maximum the market will bear rather than choosing a prices appropriate to support the customers.
If it is a $140 stand. How much are they really paying for it? $70?
If it was only 10 or so orders from Bike Forums, the losses won't be that great.
Let me know when the company puts the Specialized Venge Super Record EPS on sale for $10
