Is this removable?
i'm in the process of building this frameset up for wifey. it's a 2015 Specialized Ruby Elite with BB30. we are transferring the SRAM Rival GXP crank from her other bike to this one.
i tried removing the BB out yesterday night and only the bearing and the outter cup came out. this is my first with BB30 on specialized bike, so wasn't sure if this alloy suppose to come out or it's permanent on the frame.
i've emailed specialized and haven't had any replies yet. i have a standalone wheelmfg BB30 bottom bracket for GXP that we plan to use.. so hopefully we can use that instead of buying another one.

See the ring with a diagonal cut end right at the bottom there? Put on some good gloves, as those things love to eat fingers, and then slip a screwdriver under the little tooth to raise that end of the ring, then just work the whole thing out of the slot and out the end of the tube. There's another one deeper in. They probably aren't holding the whole thing in, but they might let you move things around enough to see how the rest is attached.
When in doubt, remove all recognizable fasteners and see if something changes to expose more.

That's just a a circlip to position the bearings. I have no idea why you would want to remove the BB shell.
A normal BB30 non-adapter bottom bracket is just the bearings that you already removed.

so u mean once i remove this ring.. i can fit a standalone PF30 into this shell?

PF30 is not the same as BB30, confusing, I know, because they both use BB30 cranks and have 30 in the name.
A BB30 frame, such as your appears to be, is not compatible with PF30. BB30 frames are 42mm and meant to insert the bearings directly into the frame. PF30 frames are 46mm and meant to use BB30 bearings in a plastic cup that are then inserted into the frame.

The Wheels MFG adapter is a shim/sleeve that goes between your current BB30 bearings and the narrower crank axle and works for either BB30 or PF30, although I note that it doesn't appear to have a wave washer like official SRAM GXP pressfit BBs. You can think of it as adapting your GXP crank to a BB30 crank, and BB30 cranks are compatible with BB30 and PF30 BBs.
The Praxis one is BB30 compatible, but the circlips need to go, and uses a shim to adapt to PF30.

i'll have to take a close look at it since they mentioned for specialized too. so my wife's frame has the OSBB, so it would be praxis #68-3201 installed without sleeve.

yea.. looks like the case. the current frame comes with BB30 already, but it's for shimano 24mm. anyone know where to find a 2mm shim to go around the axle for the non-drive 22mm side?
i have hawk racing BB86 on my bikes and for gxp, they shipped with SRAM V2 shims which are 2mm. checking with them to see if they sell that separately. if not.. maybe time to DIY and fabricate one up.
