New shoe recommendations

Bontrager Velocis, here. Had them for a little more than a year, about 2500 miles.
They come in a wide width, which was important for me.
They are very good shoes. Well ventilated, well made. The two-way wheely thingies are great, especially when on hot days my feet swell some and I want to back off the tension a little. Just pause pedaling, reach down and rotate a couple clicks. They've held up very well so far. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I have the Specialized Expert and really like them. Carbon sole with Boa closure is what I was looking for. I found the sizing to be accurate in my case (43 = 9.6).

I have Shimano RP5 arriving today. Can post feedback of thoughts after using it on trainer tonight and ride tomorrow. Bought it since it was made for non racing riders, made for comfort, carbon plate for cleats/power and flex for comfort elsewhere. Well ventilated. Currently have Northwave full carbon and decided enough, need something more comfy.

I like my Bontrager RL road shoes. I don't think they're the most current model, though.

OMG the Giros are comfy. Ended up a full size larger than I thought, so I'm glad I tried them in person.
The shop is Racer Sportif and the $300CDN price point is on existing stock only.

Depends on your foot but the heat mold-able Shimano R260 is what I have.
I like that heat molding gimmick. My appt is next week for the shoe mold.

I used them for 40k+ miles before finding a better fitting shoe. I still use them for commuting, just to extend the life of my favorite road shoes.

I was a Sidi wearer for a long time. Last year a decided to try a pair of Bont Vaypors and I'm now a Bont convert. I really like them!!! I've put about 10k miles on them in long rides, fast group rides, and crit races and they're still going strong. Very very stiff, but with the bathtub design very comfortable. Low stack height, and very light. I wore a 46 Sidi and went to a 46.5 in the Bonts. They fit like Birkenstocks so don't expect them to be anything like your trusty Sidi's. They're different, but IMO better.

I think for my next pair, I may look into the S-Works Sub6. Love the way they look with the little "Warp Sleeve" deal on, so if I can fit into them well I'll probably head that way.

the comic book ones, right? So sick.
my favorite custom pro pair of ALL TIME will always be Adam Blythe's oilslick rainbow Nikes, though. So simple, so clean, so hot. Blythe has so many ridiculously cool shoes though.
