Vittoria Graphene were just put on. I haven't even sat on the bike with these tires and can't wait to actually ride them.

@MrK. to be newly back to cycling, you jumped in with both feet, so to speak.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new Colnago Master in AD11 color scheme. The bike is fitted with Campagnolo Record 11v drivetrain, Ambrosio Excellence wheels mated to Record hubs, DEDA Superleggero seat post and stem, and DEDA handlebars.
My mechanic had to use extra steerer tube spacers because the head tube in the Master is shorter than the head tube in the Bottecchia (my other steel bike). Once I get a better feel for the bike's handling I will have the tube shorten up a bit to avoid the use of so many spacers.
I purchased the Master (as well as my C60) from Mike Price, aka Maestro. If you are looking for a Colnago, I would highly recommend that you give Mike a call. He is highly knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.
The Master joins my "stable" of hand-made Italian bikes. The fit and finish on the Master is superb, the paint is deep and shiny and the details throughout the frame are just, for lack of a better word, delicious.
Tomorrow I will take her out for her first ride. If she rides as good as she looks it will be a very fun ride. Next week I will update ride details.

The Master is gorgeous. Congratulations.
If I may, the cages aren't doing it any favors and maybe look to cover the silver under the stem when you shorten the steerer. If you use a shim between the steerer and stem then Thompson makes one in black.
The button down collar is on point. Yeah, you look pretty happy.
I'll take the furry dog.

Tim,
Thank you!
The black cages were in my stock of spare parts. I will probably change them to silver, like in my Bottecchia.
Thanks for the info regarding the Thompson shim. Black would look much better.
The dogs belong to the shop's owner. Layla and Trigger--they love it when I, or other customers, bring them treats,
Again, thanks for the good tips.

old doesn't me not relevant
I don't feel that being a father of 5 girls and a grandfather of 12 relegates me to a recumbent status. I still ride 600-800 miles a month, tour, compete and commute. This Cervelo R3 is my primary sport bike. Also have a Trek for touring and commuting and a wonderful Andy Gilmour lugged steel bike to relive the past on. Brooks saddles always get the job done. No one that I ride with ever hears me say I need a butt break.

By the way, I'm not OLD. It's just all my friends dying who betray me.

I like bikes
Here is what this old guy will ride for the '17 season. Modern celeste steel (riding Masi steel for the last 3-4 years). I feel like I'm 30 till I walk past a mirror!
Semi fast tourista will be my riding style this year (replacing racer wannabe). To hell with aero!

Wow, there are some really nice bikes old people ride. When I first read the thread title, I thought I would fit right in but, the newest bike I have is an '82 King Sting. I certainly would have a hard time keeping up with you all on my commuter bike. But then I never really have ridden very fast. This '55 Schwinn Tiger is 2 years older than I am and gives me quite a workout.
