There really is A Santa Claus

A special gift(s) from Mrs Claus.

The actual map we used on this past year's cross country ride framed plus a Route 20 sign. I truly enjoyed seeing the highlighted map extend further East as we traveled. It was excellent positive reinforcement.

Now I'm wondering how my Sag person managed to get a Route 20 sign and if we'll get a knock on the door one day from someone looking for it?!?!?

Hope you and/or your Sag person don't end up in a Federal slammer.
Map and sign going up in a prominent spot in your home?

I got towels, washrags and bed linens but I did ask for them, so I'm fine.

WONDERFUL gifts from the

In my stocking was a Calphalon spaghetti fork, , the ideal back scratching utensil when bad wrists and shoulders just don't function fluidly anymore.

There really is a Santa Claus here in San Diego County, as well. A 7-member-and-growing rogue branch of the Real Bearded Santas group is fighting childhood obesity and diabetes by promoting healthful eating and exercise. I met the founder a few weeks ago at our local weekly farmers' market, and now he is trying tor recruit me, but I keep my beard too short for their standards. The noble aim of the group is to make sure more of today's kids look like jppe et al. a half century from now.

You don't have to steal them and you can support the Route 20 Association at the same time.

For your next trip, you'll have to ride the oldest coast-to-coast road -- The Lincoln Highway https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Highway . The official Lincoln Highway route has changed many times over the years (it was originally dedicated in 1913!), so riding any one of them would qualify!

Very interesting. I will have to look into it. A quick search didn't come up with specific road numbers but this actually looks intriguing.

Although the thought of going across Nebraska again is very unappealing. When I drove across it in November moving my son back from Salt Lake City to NC the winds were even worse than when I cycled across it.
