Best Sticky/Grippy "Kush" Handlebar Tape?
Wondering recommendations for a good sticky handle bar tape. Love the feeling. I know Lizardskins is the main one, but 40 bucks for a pair of rolls, and a lot of reviews say that it starts to fall apart pretty quickly.
Any recommendations?

In my experience, the $40 for Lizardskins is worth it. I went through 2 cheap rolls of bar tape before using Lizardskins. The Lizardskin bar tape doesn't look like it's gonna unravel any time soon.

Lizardskins 3.2 is pretty durable in my experience, which is with blue, grey, and white versions. Grey has held up great into its second season, and the blue (which was removed from one bike and reinstalled on another) did will through two seasons, and was showing just a bit of white rub-through by the third season. White I tend to replace every year, as I just love the look too much to have dingy tape!
More importantly, though, is the feel of Lizardskins, which I think is optimal in the 3.2. I have some Supacaz on order for my next build, though, in Red Galaxy. That stuff may be worth looking at.

I'm done with LS. Check out the brand Fabric. I'm still loving the last roll I put on my road bike a year ago.

I really like the Lizard Skin bar tape and used it for a year or so. It's very durable and very comfortable. The biggest issue I had was staining. I use white bar tape and no matter what gloves I used, when my hands would sweat and the gloves got damp, I would always end up with a stain in front of the brifters. This would happen on the first ride if the gloves got damp. Nothing I used would take the stain out. I've been using 3T tape and haven't had that problem. It's not as comfortable as the Lizard Skin tape but it doesn't stain and cleans up very white with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

If you need even more grip, go buy some hockey tape to wrap over the top. Did a good job ripping up a pair of gloves with that stuff!

Some other tape with the feel of the Lizard skins is the MSW Anti-Slip Gel bar tape HBT-300. Very similar yet less... sticky than the LS.
