Best white bar tape?
I'd like to put white bar tape on my 2008 Lemond Poprad. What do you recommend that cleans up easily?

I'm pretty happy with the cushiness of the white bar tape that comes on the Felt. But, I think you have to live with the patina. If it gets too grungy down the road I'll probably just put another tape over it and have an even cushier grip.

Go-Jo without the pumice. If you can find that cleaning product I don't think that it matters so much what you clean with it.

I can't think of the brand right off, but my LBS set me up with a really grippy white tape that resists staining and cleans up well. I'll check the brand when I get home.

Cork tape is really easy to clean. You can use baby wipes or something similar. It doesn't soak the tape either, so it dries pretty quick.
I've used Novara brand tape (REI) like below, and am now using Deda. No difference.
The only part I couldn't clean was where there was tape residue on the inner end.

I've ridden 450 miles in nice weather on Cinelli white bar tape, and it still looks pristine. I also find it very comfortable.

I've been using 3T bar tape both my white bikes. Last quite a while and cleans up to like new with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I cut the magic eraser pads into strips, wet the strips and gently rub the bar tape.

I'm using Lizard Skins 3.2mm... nice sticky, cushy...and a bugger to keep clean... Simple Green sprayed on them and a toothbrush seems to work better, but its going to take some time...

I have good luck with the synthetic cork tapes. Pretty easy to wipe down and keep clean but they are also comfortable.

Salsa's cork tape is very easy to clean with a little dish soap. Kept my tape nice and white for a long time.

I just used the generic cheap cork tape. It was easy to wash off with a warm rage with a bit of dish soap.
Replaced it with some thinner Performance brand white tape (the stuff with the little holes through it) which has stayed pretty clean, but I don't have a lot of miles on it to know how the stuff will work long term.

I was using both Lizard Skin and Zipp tape. Loved them for comfort and they looked really great when first installed. The problem I had with them is staining from the dye in my gloves as soon as my hands started to sweat or the gloves got wet, especially when the gloves were new. No matter what I tried to get the stain off, it never would come off, only lighten up a bit. Still using the same brand of gloves and even the new ones don't seem to stain the 3T tape I'm now using. And as I mentioned, the tape comes really clean with Magic Eraser.

This stuff stays even whiter and is easier to clean: superlight glossy
And I think it looks awesome.

Best white bar tape is the new Trident Grips tape
I am loving the new Trident Grips bar tape, I got it from the Crank and Sprocket in Oriallia, ON. It is cushioned, non slippery when wet, dampens the vibration and made of a T9 polymer that you can actually clean back to bright white with only soap and water! They are a new Canadian company making their grips in Toronto.

For white, I think I'd try to find some old school vinyl padded closed cell foam tape, like the original bike ribbon. It was hard to even get dirty.
