Fudgy, you need to smile and flash a peace sign with your free hand. Isn't that how all the kids do it these days?

There's a fair amount of irony in how anti core gushy was and now having a core-centric thread. I do 90 minutes of very harf yoga every week, and 9 months out of the year I'm doubt a hard core routine, as well as a core heavy strength routine. I've posted details quite a number of times on the training thread.

What style of Yoga? I've only ever done Vinyasa. The first instructor I had in college kept it pretty chill. The second instructor at a rock climbing gym was much more vigorous (as in I was sweating profusely afterwards, although not sore).

I do the P90X yoga. It's heavy vinyasa

Nope, mean mugging grin and flatbrim MONSTER hat with their ears tucked into it.

No throwing up signs. Holding up kids is acceptable though. The kid can throw up whatever sign it wants as long as it's dressed fresh.

I do no core work still. Just trying to lose the fat off it!

I tried P90X yoga, it's the most boring thing I've ever done.

I'm trying to do some of the Yoga videos built into the Sufferfest app now.

Since this has morphed into a core thread, I highly recommend the Tom Danielson book, Core Advantage. It not only looks at core strength, but imbalances and postural issues brought on by cycling.

I've been pretty consistent about doing core workouts but last week I accidentally walked into a mat Pilates class at the gym (misread the online schedule and thought it was supposed to be Yoga). Stayed out of curiosity and holy abs! I was sore for days. I'm going back tomorrow!
