Oh, I have a job and do make a bit of money. Trying to make the argument that this is a replacement for a bus or something though. I am shelling in a bit of cash.

Too good of a deal haha, let's just say it's a hell of a deal for the components it's got. Don't want y'all adding competition

Naw, I don't think you sound pretentious, but I'm curious what you hate so much about walking a relatively short distance? Put on some tunes or an interesting podcast, you'll be home before you know it. Otoh, have you considered learning how to ride a unicycle? Fits your desire to be different and is super easy to lock up and keep safe - because no one else can ride it, lol.

Ok, my $.02,...get a kick scooter, skateboard, or let your parents test out the bike rack. I used to skateboard 14+ miles a day when I was a teenager. I'd, personally, get a nice longboard. A folding bike isn't something I'd recommend right now.

I was suppeeerrrrrrrrr close to buying a Kickped on ebay but it got bid up way too high. Did look at there tho! Also worth considering, however I am considering to use this long term thru my 4 years and will probably grow to 6'2 at least.

I own a GoPed kickped AND a knowped, and both are tough. I don't use either one,...let me know if you need one of them.

Are they large or small and how much would you sell them for?

If it's a large and you give me a decent price, I'll buy. However, no one has bid on the bike other than me for the last 2 days.

The Kickped is smaller, and my family isn't using it. I'd send it to you for postage alone. The larger Knowped I originally bought for $189 from Amazon. That I'd sell for a negotiated price.

PM me and we'll talk. Doing a business transaction in the forums isn't allowed.

PS: I have 3 adult children, and 1 13 yo, no one uses the Kickped,...I'd recommend that one as a starter kickscooter.

My first thought was concern for his ability to ever have children, lol. But, apparently, there are people who do this regularly and don't kill themselves. I trip going down stairs so this is to me!

Just an FYI: the op and I had a possible deal, and it was cancelled. His search continues,...good luck.

So you won't be riding home, you'd actually be coasting. Which without the effort of having to struggle up the hill is cheating.

On another note, yes, Mexico City has become the Class A model for all things bike!! I'm so proud of that city going from a completely non-biker friendly city to what has to be one of the best on the planet! Vive la bici!

What does your post have to do with the OP's thread? Absolutely nothing,...
