My 1958 Sun Cresta has pegs on the top tube for a 18" pump and I have an older Primus pump(Schrader only) but if I'm out for a tour, I have an older Zefal frame pump that works really well.

According to 1958 info I received, Sun ( F.C.Parkes, Birmingham England) called the combination Flamboyant Purple/Pale Blue. Still wearing its original paint and Bantel "Beau Garde" mudguards. Touched up with the closest nail polish I could find.

Well done! You, sir, may consider yourself a true nail polish speciallist!

Pumps are an important part of touring and day trips for me. Although I sometimes remember to switch my mini pump from bike to bike, its nice if a pump can stay with the bike. On this recent 1965 Dilecta LeBlanc build, after reading this thread, I moved the water bottle cage from the seat tube to the down tube (a little low, but did not want to damage the "Dilecta" decal any further) to allow a newly acquired Planet Bike frame pump some room. The pump was discounted at MEC ($14) and the product being dropped. Perhaps frame pumps are on the wane?

My beloved 1976 Supercycle Excalibur, built by Bridgestone and imported from Japan by Canadian Tire, carries it's 18" Primus pump on a pair of KARASAWA pegs, both from Japan as well. I suspect the bike came this way. It was their most expensive offering at $199!

Here’s a couple of pics that include the silver Silva Impero stamped with Bottecchia, and a Zeus label on an Italian REG (???).
The Sapo shown in post #1 , suffered a casualty - open to any repair suggestions, pump relegated to aesthetic photo duties only.
the pump holders are Zeus (2) and one stamped Bianchi.
@juvela - thanks for those old & unique pumps.

I am planning on putting a Lezyne pump on the seatstay on the frame I'm working on. I have thought about modifying some pump pegs to make it so I can keep the rubber, but I can't decide if that's the way to go.

This is a new one to me.

Note the large foot plate of this pump peg.

In this instance it is serving double duty as a no-slide pibb for the machine's Juy shift lever.

It is worn on a Goricke bicycle from the early-to-mid 1950's (West Germany).

Considering pairing this Bluemels pump with my 1972 CCM project which was set up with Bluemels Popular mudguards when purchased by the original owner. Would the pump be of similar vintage? I have a couple of sets of clamp style pegs available. Its about 18" long. The bike is shown before I dismantled it.
