It seems to me that The guys in the booth, at least in the ad-free feed, have a very English-Aussie-Kiwi centric bias.
They can’t stop fawning over the so-called great Ineos team.
I find myself turning off the volume.
I miss Sherwin and I miss the Sherwin-Ligget combo.

Interesting I have to disagree a bit though, I'm really starting to like Robbie and Matt. I think this tour they've really developed an outstanding repertoire with each other. I listen to them over Bob and Phil, mainly because I want to see full coverage without commercials and they go end to end.
I haven't seen any Ineos fawning, but man were they going wild when Simon Yates won stage 12
I'm following Chris Horner's thoughts, agree that Alaphilippe needs to ride within himself. He may lose bits of time but he'll be sunk if he just hammers into the red like he did today on stage 15.

He’s showing a lot of heart and I do hope juju wins the overall but he looked pretty ragged after that last climbing stage and Thomas seems to be getting back to form. Then again Juju made the mistake of trying to keep up with the pure climbers like Bernal so maybe that’s what did him in on that stage

Tell you what, it's nice to see the Tour wide open at this point without any clear favorite and without the infamous Sky Ineos train being a factor this year.

Man, what a descending ride. I'm totally impressed, 2 more days, if he doesn't loose more than a minute, in the next 2 stages, the French will have their win. I wish I could descend like he does. KB.

\You know, I just read this and responded to it without noticing who had posted it. You are on record, I believe, as being against teams and alliances, right? Every man for himself, through all 3 weeks, wasn't that it? But perhaps the urge to see the underdogs slay the SkIneos dragon has given you a different perspective for the time being?

Mas seems to be back in form to aid Juju.
My tinfoil hat is starting to tingle though.
Juju and the defunct army team? Mas getting sick then miraculously recovering for the Alps. No one following his wheel when he was gaining big time in the early stages, focusing on G. All on the 100th anniversary of the yellow Jersey? A perfect distraction for Macron.
If he makes it to Paris in yellow this will look more like a genius strategy. No ones taken him seriously and it's cost everyone big time.

It's their market. Back in the day, they sold DVD's to those markets.
I had the opportunity to meet Paul, and I agree his absence is missed.
However, the British Empire bias was always there, including Paul's era

after alaphilippe's initial yellow jersey surge this tdf vintage, i thought he was a year or two away from being a serious gt contender.
if he holds on to win it, it will give a few more classics style riders new dreams and ambitions.

Hope the Specialized commercial with Phil on the E-bike isn't a prognostication of what's to come for Alaphilippe.
