I'm gonna have to make some pancakes this weekend. I might also splurge on some professionally made (but artisanal) pie this weekend.
I dunno why there are two forks in this picture, as this is obviously a single serving personal pie:

Looks like Dutch Bros. ripped their whole deal off from this classic Los Angeles coffee shop/bakery:

Marriage is a tough adjustment. Using the first one for practice helps the second one to run like a well oiled machine. My wife and I are each on our second. And nearly 30 years into it.

You may enjoy a Brevet or two. It's a unique deal where you can ride with others, or not, but you're never completely alone. At least here, anyway. We have a large community of them here, and when I'm done racing, I'll likely go back to that. 300k is the gateway between wanting to go more, or calling that a good distance. 400k is a commitment, as is a 600k. I never wanted to do anything that took more than a single session of riding, so I never tried a 1200k.

That’s incredible. This chart tells me how effective the sugar industry has been in blaming fat for the obesity epidemic in America.
Wouldn’t surprise me to find the chart for sugar consumption is roughly the inverse of this one.

That’s when you drug them, and when they wake up next morning tied to chairs you explain the value of counseling and reconciliation, or else. This technique usually gets people’s attention.

Snow covered roads, not deep but not rideable with anything that I own without breaking something. Sick of the trainer so a hike may be in the plans. My oncologist wants me to do more load bearing exercise anyway. The odd thing is, after nearly 40 years of strenuous cycling exercise, I seem to burn more calories at a lower heart rate by walking. Too much cycling muscle specificity?

goal.
1200k is a long-term goal. There's one this year that looks amazing but I believe they make you complete a full SR series before you can enter, and that's just not going to happen this year. https://www.ironporcupine1200k.org/
The club I ride with is repeating the 200k that was my favorite ride of all time this year. Super excited about doing that one again.
I'm also hoping to do a little mini-tour on the Elroy-Sparta Trail with my wife this summer.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
For realz, though. He's not wrong. Some people think "Hazelnuts are healthy!" and spread it on thick. Just know that it's candy (Basically the filling in Ferrero Rocher) and treat it accordingly. This would be the same as someone using copious amounts of jelly and telling themselves they are getting a fruit serving.

I was wondering to myself why Strava wouldn't use the power estimate for calories as it would be way more accurate than the highly inaccurate speed/time calorie estimate because estimated power isn't even a premium feature. Then it occurred to me that lots of people would rather think they burned twice as many calories as they did and Strava knows this.
