Chipping around thru axel (Lynskey Fork)
So, finally am getting around to building a new bike (Lynskey gravel w/carbon fork). As I was screwing in the thru-axel, and not very tightly, I hear a crunching sound. How normal is this? It seems like it is just paint. Is it or should I be looking for any other issues? It's never been ridden on and the disc brakes haven't even been installed yet.

At first view it looks to be the clear coat that's chipped off under pressure. Pretty much what any painted device does with tightly clamped parts. Is there more going on after seating the through axle tightly? Andy

@AnkleWork - Yes, my current bike is all carbon. Front it probably removed twice a month. No issues like this.
@Andrew - I haven't clamped it in as firmly as I do with my other bike. The wheel seems snug, but this was surprising. I'm not sure if this is normal for Lynskey QA, normal in general, or if it will pose a future problem.
