Taking Recs On Summer Tires
Hey, guys. So, in the wet months here, road are awful, like many places, and I do not enjoy changing tires in the pouring rain. So, I ride Hardshells in the winter--problem solved. Have not gone tubeless, have my reasons. Might do it next winter. we shall see,
That's all different when the weather shifts. Rode Rubinos most of last summer. They were fine, but would like to try something different. Thinking about Corsas, maybe, but not sure. Would love to hear folks' thoughts. Thanks!!!!!!!!

The Corsas are nice, yes. So are the GP5000S. Over the winter I was running some Michelin P4Es, which are no longer available but their replacements are supposed to be better.
In any case, most anything "premium" will feel nicer than Rubinos and a LOT nicer than Hardshells!

Eh... it’s not their strongest point, but short of something with bead-to-bead Kevlar I don’t think it’s actually worse than other nice summer tires. Chunks of gravel through the sidewall kill most of my nice tires no matter what brand.

I'm on my fourth set of GP5Ks without a single puncture, sidewall or otherwise. Only one pinch flat, and that was from a pothole in a fast group ride that wasn't called out, no flats riding solo. Love these tires, not even gonna try anything else.
