SRAM shifter with Shimano rear derailleur?
Hello guys, i have cx bike with sram force 1x11, but i want to replace the rear derailleur with a shimano xt 1x11 ( i have 11-42 casette). Can be this done? But with shimano grx?

Not really. Their are kludges that might make it work but it isn't really worth it if it did work. Just get the SRAM Force 1x Long cage derailleur that can handle up to a 42 tooth cassette.

The shifters have to match the derailleurs. Otherwise, you can mix and match components between SRAM, Shimano, and Campagnolo for 11-speed groupsets. For groupsets with different numbers of speeds, the answer is more complicated. Check the figures at the following link.
